Curses, we all love to speculate about them. The misfortune that falls upon anything for any reason. Do they exist or not? But, this article will provide information on 5 incidents that actually happened by a supposed curse.
5. Presidential Curse[]
The Battle of Tippecanoe was fought on November 7, 1811. It was a war between Tecumseh and William Henry Harrison. The army led by Harrison were successful, but what followed was strange. William Henry Harrison, Abraham Lincoln, James A. Garfield, William McKinley, Warren G. Harding, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and John F. Kennedy were all killed during their presidency. Ronald Reagan was next, but ending up surviving an assassination attempt. Since then, no president was harmed.
4. Don't Own 08-888-888-888[]
Mobitel's former CEO had this phone number, only to die from lung cancer the same year. Two mob bosses were shot and killed. More and more people were being killed, all of which owned this phone number. After the amount of deaths were getting higher and higher, Mobitel has since put the number on an indefinite suspension.
3. The Chair of Death[]
Thomas Busby was at his favorite restaurant as a last request before his execution. Once he finished eating, he yelled "may sudden death fall upon anyone who dare sit in my chair." Since then, an estimated 68 people met their deaths after sitting in that same chair. The chair has since been donated to the Thirsk Museum, where its holstered up in the air almost touching the ceiling. It's this high to most likely prevent another death from happening.
2. Earth's Deadly Gem[]
The Hope Diamond is one of the most famous jewels of all time. Being owned by several kings and having multiple world travels. However, don't let the look fool you. Owning this gem has sent many kings into financial failure, divorce, and even death. It is currently at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, where you get to witness what the gem looks like.
1. Frozen With Evil[]
Otzi was a 5,000 year old mummy found in the Otzal Alps. Since his discovery in 1991, many of the people involved of discovering Otzi has died. The man who found the mummy went missing, only to be found dead after falling off a cliff. More deaths ranging from heart attacks, car crashes, avalanches, and even a brain tumor has struck the people involved with the operation.
