Have you ever played a game you really love that a lot of people hate? Here, I have 5 of those in mind.

5: Undertale Edit

Okay, this one is kind of a stretch but I like Undertale...sort of. You see, it has some flaws don't get me wrong. And most of the complaints I see are from the fucking fanbase. So a bad fanbase means the game is bad? There are some genuine problems that others say affect the game and I can kinda see those. But what really gets to me is how the game is in a pixel art style, but with the occasional cartoonish and even photoshop imagery thrown in. The game looks good even with the pixels, the characters are likable, and even the humor works.

4: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered Edit

A lot of people like to bash MWR for adding in supply drops and brand new stuff. But personally, I like these additions. At least the supply drop weapons are easy to get unlike Black Ops III. Here, you can either get the weapons through supply drops or use parts (MWR's version of Infinite Warfare's salvage). The weapon kits are also really nice. You can change the way your character looks, emblems, new camos, MWR is basically both an old and new game.

3. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Edit

2. Minecraft Edit

Honorable Mentions Edit

WWE 2K17: There are many problems, don't get me wrong. But they are very minor and I don't really care.

Resident Evil 4-7: A lot of people hate the newest Resident Evil games, even 7 when the horror was brought back. I personally really enjoyed them, especially 4 and 7. Sure, 4-6 had very little horror but as action games they were good. And 7 actually made me jump a few times.

Fallout 4: Apparently people hated this game because of the settlements...and that's it. I personally liked the settlement building, even if it was limited.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl: A lot of people complained about Brawl's new story mode. I get it, the story was weak at times and most of the enemies, bosses, and levels not being from other franchises. But past that, the roster was great and even a few stages were really good. Even if a few of Smash's worst stages came from Brawl.

1. Super Mario Sunshine Edit

I just don't get the hate behind it. I grew up loving this game and I still enjoy it to this very day. The piantas were creative, even if they looked silly. Delfino Island was creative and even good looking for the Gamecube days. My personal favorite part being Serena Beach, the sunset really made the stage look even better. The boss fights were even fun as well. I personally think Sunshine is one of the best Mario games next to 3 and World.
